City of Frisco/WaterWise on their FOG recycling program - Eagle Scout Project

Date: April 30, 2019

My name is Paul Torres, a Life Scout with Troop 51 here in Frisco. I am working on my Eagle project by helping the City of Frisco/WaterWise on their FOG recycling program. Myself, along with several other volunteers, will be distributing informational door hangers to residents in the Grayhawk subdivision on May 11th. This information will help residents understand the importance of water usage and sanitary overflows. It will also explain that I am doing a collection of FOG's. I will return on May 25th, along with my volunteers to collect the FOG's, fats, oils and grease.  Residents can please leave their FOG's in a seal-able container on their porch by 8 am, Saturday May 25th. My volunteers will quietly be picking these up and delivering them to Frisco Environmental Center for recycling.

I have committed to collecting 70 lbs of FOG's for the City of Frisco to recycle into diesel fuel. Having all the neighbors of Grayhawk participate would sure help me to reach my goal.

 Thank you,
 Paul Torres
