Subject: Construction of Monarch View Neighborhood Park
Date: February 05, 2020
On February 4, 2020, Frisco City Council approved an agreement with North Rock Construction, LLC to build Monarch View Neighborhood Park, formerly known as Hackberry Knoll Park. The 13-acre park will be located north of Koehn Drive and Labrador Run Drive, just west of Sue Wilson Stafford Middle School. The park will feature walking trails, a shade structure, children’s playground, multi-use court and landscape improvements.
Construction is slated to begin in March 2020 and will continue for approximately 12 – 15 months. City staff will work closely with the contractor to limit any impact to your neighborhood. We hope this new park will bring enjoyment to all in the near future.
